QUARTERBACK

Mac Jones, New England Patriots

Roster Percentage: 40%
After an impressive Week 10 outing vs the Browns many were on Jones for Week 11. And while he played well, the team did not need to pass much during their shut out win over the Falcons. Jones completed 22-of-26 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown. Week 12 brings on the Titans who have given up the second most points to Quarterbacks this season.

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

Roster Percentage: 33%
If you are in need of a steamer for Week 12 look no further than Jimmy Garoppolo in what should be a high scoring match-up vs Minnesota. In Week 11 he completed 16-of-22 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Jaguars. While Jimmy G. won’t blow the doors off most weeks he does take on a Vikings defense who has given up the 5th most points to fantasy Quarterbacks this season.

Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team

Roster Percentage: 16%
Heinicke has been a bit of a roller coaster ride this season but he has a plus match-up vs Seattle in Week 12. Against the Panthers in Week 11, he completed 16-of-22 attempts for 206 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed six times for 29 yards. Be aware the WFT’s schedule in weeks to come is rough. They face both Dallas and Philadelphia twice in weeks 14–16, making Heinicke a recommend sit in almost all leagues during that period.

Others to Consider: Tua Tagovailoa (43% vs CAR) Tyrod Taylor (6% vs NYJ)

RUNNING BACK

If available: Rhamondre Stevenson (58%)

Ty Johnson/ Tevin Coleman, New York Jets

Roster Percentage: 21%/3%
Slim pickings on the waiver wire this week. Michael Carter suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 11 which opens opportunity for both Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson. Coleman is likely to see more of the early down work but has little left in the tank. For me the pickup here is the satellite back Ty Johnson who provides more upside.

Rex Burkhead/David Johnson, Houston Texans

Roster Percentage: 0%/25%
Rex Burkhead rushed 18 times for 40 yards in Week 11. While the upside is limited and unpredictable for the Texans, we saw the timeshare get a little thinner with today’s release of Phillip Lindsay. In Week 12 the Texans take on the Jets, making Burkhead a low-end Flex option.

If you need to reach even deeper David Johnson could see some more opportunity as well. He rushed 13 times for 18 yards and caught three of his targets for 16 yards.

Others to Consider: Latavius Murray (36%) Boston Scott (21%) Sony Michel (28%) Samaje Perine (7%) Tony Jones Jr. (4%) DeeJay Dallas (1%)

WIDE RECEIVER

If available: Michael Gallup (68%) Rashod Bateman (59%) Darnell Mooney (58%) Kadarius Toney (55%)

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

Roster Percentage: 9%
While this selection is a bit of a recency bias, it’s slim pickings this week on the wire. Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught 4-of-10 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. While MVS doesn’t have a history of continuous weeks of production it’s hard to ignore the 10 targets. The Packers take on the Rams in Week 12 which should prove to be a high scoring game.

Cedrick Wilson, Dallas Cowboys

Roster Percentage: 3%
Once it was announce that Amari Cooper was out with Covid-19, Wilson was on the radar in Week 11 and Cooper will continue to be out for Week 12. The Cowboys also lost Ceedee Lamb due to a concussion in Week 11 and is questionable for Week 12. Wilson caught 4-of-7 targets for 36 yards in Week 11 and could step in as the Cowboys number two option when they take on the Raiders in Week 12.

Tre’Quan Smith, New Orleans Saints

Roster Percentage: 4%
After being out the first six weeks of the season Smith seems to finally be finding his rhythm. He caught 5-of-8 targets for 64 yards in Week 11. Smith should continue to see volume moving forward as the Saints just lost Tight End Adam Trautman who had also been coming on in recent weeks. While I do like Smith as an add this week, he is someone I would try to leave on benches in Week 12 as the Saints take on the stout Bills defense.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans

Roster Percentage: 1%
Just when we thought Marcus Johnson had a firm grip on the WR2 position in Tennessee he went out with a hamstring Injury. We also saw A.J. Brown suffer a chest injury and is listed as questionable. Queue the last man standing Nick Westbrook-Ikhine who caught 7-of-8 targets for 107 yards in Week 11. While he only saw a 16% target share he did run the second most routes on the team. The Titans take on a much tougher defense in Week 12 in the Patriots.

Others to Consider: Laviska Shenault Jr. (39%) Sterling Shepard (31%) Jamison Crowder (20%) Kendrick Bourne (20%)

TIGHT END

Dan Arnold, Jacksonville Jaguars

Roster Percentage: 41%
After seeing ZERO targets in Week 11 you can understand why I am recommending him on this list! WAIT WHUT?? Well sure last week was a total ZERO, but in the three weeks prior he saw targets of 10/7/8, which is a large target share in the Tight End market. I think we see a get-right Week 12 for Arnold when he goes up against the Falcons.

Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings

Roster Percentage: 30%
Not the two touchdown week he had in Week 10 but Conklin caught all 3 of his targets for 35 yards in Week 11. Conklin is a low-end TE1 from week-to-week in which you hope he finds the end-zone. The Vikings take on the 49ers in Week 12.

Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears

Roster Percentage: 18%
After averaging 6+ targets over the past three games, Week 11 was a disappointment. Kmet caught 1-of-2 targets for 12 yards. The Bears will be coming off a short week and will now have Andy Dalton filling in for the injured Justin Fields. Although I expect the Bears to go run heavy against the Lions in Week 12, I think we see a bounce-back week for Kmet.

Others to Consider: Gerald Everett (20%) Nick Vannett/Juwan Johnson (0%/3%) Geoff Swaim (0%)

DEFENSE
