QUARTERBACK

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Roster Percentage: 50%
Its been a rough start for Lawrence but the JAGZ should continue to throw the ball a ton, but now we are finally seeing Trevor get the designed runs that we were expected from him when he was drafted. Lawrence completed 23-of-33 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown and rushed seven times for 28 yards and a touchdown (with another TD overturned).

Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team

Roster Percentage: 16%
I’ve been on Heinicke for the past few weeks although I had him as a sit against a Saints defense that has made it tough for QB’s to produce. Heinicke had a rough week completing 20-of-41 passes for 248 yards adding five rushes for 40 yards in Week 5. This week I am back on Heinicke as a top streaming option against the Chiefs defense who have given up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.

Teddy Bridgewater

Roster Percentage: 18%
Returning from a concussion which knocked him out of week 4, Bridgewater completed 24-of-38 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. The Broncos take on the Raiders in week 6.

Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers

Roster Percentage: 45%
The 49ers are on a Week 6 bye, but Lance is still a hold for me if you have the roster space.

Others to Consider:
Carson Wentz (14% @ HOU) Gino Smith (1% @ PIT)

RUNNING BACK

If available:
Eli Mitchell (68%) AJ Dillon (65%) Michael Carter (54%)

Darrel Williams, Kansas City Chiefs

Roster Percentage: 19%
Clyde Edwards-Helaire left Week 5 with a nasty knee injury that landed him on IR. Initially it was Jerick McKinnon who got the first carry but it was Williams who took over and rushed five times for 27 yards and also caught 3-of-5 passes for 18 yards. Williams is a must-add in all leagues.

Devontae Booker, New York Giants

Roster Percentage: 8%
Once Barkley went down with an ankle injury (and could be looking at a multi-week absence) Booker took over the bellcow role. He rushed 16 times for 42 yards and a touchdown, and scored a second time through the air catching 3-of-4 targets for 16 yards. It’s a close call between Williams and Booker as the top RB add of the week — I lean Williams, but not by much.

Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears

Roster Percentage: 19%
Although Damien Williams was the starter for the Bears it was Khalil Herbert who ended up with the most carries in Week 5, carrying the rock 18 times for 75 yards. Although some of that workload came when the game was in hand, Herbert should still continue to be the 1B in a run first offense.

Sony Michel, Los Angeles Rams

Roster Percentage: 49%
Sony Michel filled in nicely while Henderson was on the sideline with a potential arm injury. And while Henderson did ultimately return, Michel rushed 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown in relief. Michel is a top-tier handcuff on a high-powered Rams offense and should be owned in most leagues.

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

Roster Percentage: 7%
The Damien Harris game we expected did not happen. Between the fumbles and a rib injury it left the door open for rookie Rhamondre Stevenson. While the stats in week 5 for Stevenson were underwhelming (11-for-23) the Patriots did lose four of their offensive lineman. If Stevenson gets the start there is a chance he keeps the role.

Alex Collins, Seattle Seahawks

Roster Percentage: 37%
It’s still unknown if Carson will return for Week 6 against the Steelers but if he is out then Collins is in play again as a low-end RB2/Flex. Collins rushed 15 times for 47 yards and caught two balls for 25 yards. While the production left managers wanting more, he did play 71% of the offensive snaps. He’s worth an add, but follow the injury report this week to see Carson’s availability.

Others to Consider:
Kenneth Gainwell (41%) Giovani Bernard (16%) Marlon Mack (13%) Ty Johnson (5%) Chris Evans (2%) Jerick Mckinnon (1%)

WIDE RECEIVER

Kadarius Toney, New York Giants

Roster Percentage: 18%
If you tuned in last week to “Winning the Wire” on Colorcast our guest Andy Singleton of XTB gave a hard push for Toney to be added and BOY was he right. Toney destroyed the Cowboys for 189 yards on 10 receptions. Toney has seen his snap share skyrocket over the past few weeks due to the injury riddled Giants receiver core, although we did see significant change between week 4 in which 61% of Toney’s routes came out of the slot and week 5 when that percentage dropped to 29%. Toney has shown why the Giants drafted him in the first round and he should continue to see a high percentage of snaps even when everyone is healthy. Hes a must add in all leagues.

FUN FACT: Toney is also a rapper who goes by the name of Yung Joka. Check him out in action below.

Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos

Roster Percentage: 31%
This blurb is like a broken record…This blurb is like a broken record…This blurb is like a broken record. Patrick has been a standing waiver wire add for weeks and yet he is still only owned in 31% of leagues. He was yet again uber efficient with his opportunities catching 7-of-9 targets for 89 yards (24% target share). He’s a weekly WR3 for as long as Jerry Jeudy is out.

Marquez Callaway, New Orleans Saints

Roster Percentage: 30%
While the Saints are still not throwing the ball a ton, Callaway continues to be a favorite target for Jameis Winston. Callaway caught 4-of-8 targets for 85 yards and two touchdowns. The Saints lost yet another pass catcher in week 5 (Deonte Harris) leaving Callaway as the clear cut target hog. The Saints have a Week 6 bye providing an opportunity for some of the pass catchers to return in week 7.

Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders

Roster Percentage: 45%
Renfrow has quietly become a dependable option for fantasy mangers. He caught 6-of-8 targets for 56 yards in Week 5. With many teams on bye in week 6 Renfrow could be a dependable fill-in

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens

Roster Percentage: 24%
Bateman returned to practice last week after landing on IR due to pre-season core-muscle surgery. Its likely he will be eased back into the lineup, but once he gets rolling Bateman has the skill-set to become the WR1 for the Ravens.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Roster Percentage: 4%
Once Quintez Cephus went down (and is now on IR) St. Brown continued to get peppered with targets catching 7-of-8 for 65 yards in Week 5. St. Brown is emerging as the top receiving option for the Lions who take on the Bengals in Week 6.

Others to Consider:
Michael Gallup (46%) Darnell Mooney (45%) Mecole Hardman (43%) Rondale Moore (40%) Chris Moore (0%) Preston Williams (0%)

TIGHT END

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

Roster Percentage: 47%
This off season I was in the minority of the Henry over Smith debate but each week Henry is the one running more routes and the targets are now following. In Week 5 Henry caught 6-of-8 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. The Patriots are starving for play-makers and Henry is one of the better catch passing options they have.

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles

Roster Percentage: 38%
Dallas Goedert has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list leaving Ertz as the top pass catching tight end for the Eagles. Ertz should be funneled with targets this week and is a top streaming option for this weeks Thursday Night Football match-up against the Bucs.

Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Football Team

Roster Percentage: 2%
Filling in for Logan Thomas, Seals-Jones caught 5-of-8 targets for 41 yards in a Week 5 loss to the Saints. While those stats might not fly off the page, what was impressive was his usage. He was basically an every down player and received 20% of the targets including three end-zone targets. And to top it off he was second in routes run only to Terry McLaurin.

Evan Engram, New York Giants

Roster Percentage: 31%
As I am typing this I am already considering removing Engram from this list. I am not a fan of Engram’s game, but what he currently has going for him are the opportunities afforded by a Giants receiver core that is decimated by injury. He did catch all four of his targets for 55 yards in the Week 5. As long as the Giants receiver core is out, Engram is option for tight end needy teams.

Others to Consider:
Pat Freiermuth (6%) Dan Arnold (4%) David Njoku (3%) Mo Alie-Cox (3%) Ross Dwelley (2%) Donald Parham Jr. (1%)
