QUARTERBACK

Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts

Roster Percentage: 35%
While Wentz didn’t need to throw much against the Texans we did see some of the swagger we haven’t seen from Wentz in a long time. He completed 11-of-20 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6. The return of T.Y. Hilton immediately gives this passing game a much needed boost. This week, the Colts take on a 49ers team which has given up the 12th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Roster Percentage: 50%
Lawrence had a rough start to his NFL career but has continued to show improvement each week. The Jaguars are on Bye in Week 7 but if you have the room to roster a second quarterback I would scoop him up. After completing 70% of his passes in Week 5 he went on to completed 25-of-41 passes for 319 yards and a touchdown in Week 6. We are also starting to see the Jaguars let him run a bit more. When the Jags return from their bye they take on a Seattle defense which has lead to fantasy goodness for QB’s.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Roster Percentage: 18%
Tua returned to the field after his Week 2 departure due to fractured ribs. In Week 6 he completed 33-of-47 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns. There is optimism he will get some added depth at wide receiver with the possible return of DeVante Parker and/or Preston Williams. And when looking for a QB-friendly match-up to stream against look no further than the Falcons defense who have given up the 8th most points to fantasy QB’s.

Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints

Roster Percentage: 39%
The Saints are coming off a Week 6 bye and we could the return of wide receivers Micheal Thomas and Tre’Quan Smith. Winston’s production has been up-and-down but he takes on a Seattle defense which has given up the 14th most points to quarterbacks. I will caution that a Seahawks team sans Russell Wilson could lead to a low-scoring match-up that has the Saints going run-heavy.

Others to Consider:
Trey Lance (31% @ IND) Teddy Bridgewater (20% @ CLE)

RUNNING BACK

If available:
Eli Mitchell (65%) Khalil Herbert (64%) Kenyan Drake (53%) Michael Carter (52%)

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

Roster Percentage: 11%
Stevenson was on our list last week once Damien Harris popped up on injury coupled with his fumbling issues. Coming into week 7 those struggles for Harris continued. Cue Rhamondre Stevenson who rushed five times for 23 yards and a touchdown and adding three receptions for 39 additional yards in Week 6. The Patriots take on the Jets in week 7 meaning Stevenson could very well see his usage spike.

J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team

Roster Percentage: 43%
Antonio Gibson continued to bounce in-and-out of the WFT lineup with a shin injury much to the benefit of J.D. McKissic. McKissic rushed eight times for 45 yards and caught eight balls for 65 yards. He has been a high-floor PPR option finishing as a top 15 RB in 3 of his last 5 games while hauling in a 15% target share. If Gibson misses any time he should be the main benefactor.

Marlon Mack, Indianapolis Colts

Roster Percentage: 28%
Mack once again makes the list due to trade rumors. Its not only fantasy teams who need healthy running backs, the real-life teams are also struggling with injuries. If he lands in the right spot he could very well take over as a lead back.

D’Ernest Johnson/Demetric Felton, Cleveland Browns

Roster Percentage: 9%/5%
Nick Chubb has already been ruled out for Week 7’s Thursday night match-up against the Broncos, and Kareem Hunt has been put on IR after going down in Week 6 with a calf injury. The next men up are D’Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton. Felton made the sleeper list last week but most of his work so far has been lining up as a wide receiver more than in the backfield. That might change this week although its more likely we see Johnson getting the first crack between the tackles. Its hard to predict, but I’m leaning Johnson over Felton with the likelihood he gets the larger workload.

Rashaad Penny/DeeJay Dallas, Seattle Seahawks

Roster Percentage: 9%/2%
After Chris Carson went on IR, Alex Collins had a huge Week 6 but now Collins is questionable leading into week 7. Rashaad Penny is available to come off of IR in week 7 and although, he has struggled to stay healthy, if active he could prove to have nice upside. The other player to consider is DeeJay Dallas who had showed us some nice moves in the hurry-up offense late in week 6. If Collins is out, both are options to add in deeper leagues.

Devonta Freeman, Baltimore Ravens

Roster Percentage: 2%
This backfield has been a weekly headache. Latavius Murray has been the most dependable option taking on a 49% rush share although it seemed like he was banged up by the end of the game. That led to Devonta Freeman getting some extra run. He rushed nine times for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 win over the Chargers. If Murray is out he gives some much needed flex appeal for running back needy teams. The Ravens take on the Bengals in week 7.

Chris Evans, Cincinnati Bengals

Roster Percentage: 4%
This is dependent on the availability of Samaje Perine who was on the COVID-19 list for week 6. With out Perine, Chris Evans filled in behind lead back Joe Mixon. He rushed four times for 18 yards, adding three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. If Perine is eligible to return in Week 7 he would be the add.

Others to Consider:
Mark Ingram (32%) Jaret Patterson (1%) Ty Johnson (5%)

WIDE RECEIVER

If available:
Emmanuel Sanders (79%) Sterling Shepard (52%)

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens

Roster Percentage: 24%
In his debut Bateman saw a 22% target share and caught four of his five targets for 29 yards. He was second in routes run (66%) only behind Marquise Brown. He did have a ball bounce off his chest for an interception that led to a touchdown. But bigger days are ahead for this talented rookie wide-out. He should be owned in all leagues.

T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts

Roster Percentage: 39%
I thought the Colts would ease Hilton back into action but that was not the case. He caught all 4 of his targets for 80 yards leading all Colts in target share at 22%. He did leave the game in the fourth quarter with an injury although it doesn’t seem like anything serious and the game was well in hand. He should be added in most leagues as a WR3/Flex moving forward.

Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos

Roster Percentage: 35%
Another week another Patrick blurb…WHY is he not rostered in more leagues?? What if I told you that he is only 9 points behind Keenan Allen on the season; would that help put things in perspective regarding what sort of season Patrick is having? He once again had a solid performance catching 3-of-6 balls for 42 yards and a touchdown in Week 6. The Broncos match up against the Browns this week on Thursday night football. The Browns have given up the 6th most fantasy points to wide-outs. Get him in your lineups.

Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns

Roster Percentage: 2%
The Browns offense is a tough one to predict on a weekly basis. But after back-to-back productive weeks Peoples-Jones has earned a spot on this weeks list. He caught 4-of-5 targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6. Baker Mayfield is questionable for TNF and the backfield has been plagued by injury, so coming off a short week Peoples-Jones could be a risky play but I think he is worthy of rostering in deeper leagues — especially with Odell Beckham also questionable this week.

K.J. Osborn, Minnesota Vikings

Roster Percentage: 8%
The Vikings are on bye this week although Osborn once again showed why he was on the waiver wire list earlier in the season. Osborn caught 6-of-7 targets for 78 yards and touchdown in Week 6. He is someone I like as a bench stash for future bye-week needs.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Roster Percentage: 22%
St. Brown continues to see his target share hover around 22% while averaging almost 8 targets. In Week 6 he caught 5-of-7 targets for 26 yards and while those stats don’t necessarily fly off the page, he has proven to see consistent usage for the Lions. For now he’s more of a deep league add or bye-week fill in.

Others to Consider:
Michael Gallup, on Bye but likely to come off IR in week 8 (43%) Darnell Mooney (44%) Rondale Moore (43%) DeVante Parker could return from injury (40%) Jamison Crowder (27%) Kendrick Bourne (2%)

TIGHT END

Ricky Seals-Jones

Roster Percentage: 30%
Last week we spoke about Seals-Jones being an every-down player who was second in targets on the team only behind Terry McLaurin. In Week 6 nothing changed…he caught 4-of-6 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown. Its hard to believe, but Seals-Jones looks like a TE1 moving forward.

Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers

Roster Percentage: 6%
I spoke about Freiermuth last week on “Winning the Wire” possibly seeing higher usage with JuJu going out for the year. It looks like that narrative became reality. Freiermuth caught all seven of his targets for 58 yards in Week 6 win. He should continue to produce TE2 numbers with some boom weeks moving forward.

Others to Consider:
Mo Alie-Cox (8%) OJ Howard (1%) Ross Dwelley (1%)

DEFENSE
