TOP TARGETS: TIGHT END

Breaking down my favorite tight ends in each tier for the 2022 fantasy football season.

UPPER-TIER

KYLE PITTS

To say 68/1,026/1 was a disappointing season bewilders me. Sure the TDs weren’t there, but Pitts still finished as the TE5. The TDs will come and the targets will be plentiful. Even with questionable QB play Pitts has the potential to finish the season as the TE1.

MID-TIER

HUNTER HENRY

We were on Henry over Jonnu Smith last season and that is the case again this season. Henry led the Patriots in red zone targets (17–7th among TEs) showing good chemistry with Mac Jones last season and I expect that to carry over.

ADP: TE19 • CHUBZBURGER RANK: TE13

VALUE-TIER

AUSTIN HOOPER

The Titans have 239 vacated targets and I expect newly aquired Hooper to see a lot of those come his way. It’s been a few seasons since he’s been productive but only 3 seasons removed from finishing as the TE6. If you are waiting on TE, Hooper could be your golden ticket.
